Accepted: Medicare and all major commercial insurance. Not accepted: Medicaid (including as secondary). Tricare accepted as secondary insurance.
District Endocrine participates with Medicare, Sentara Health Plans, and all major commercial payers, including Aetna, Anthem BCBS, Apostrophe, CareFirst BCBS, Cigna Healthcare, HealthNet Federal Services (HNFS), United Healthcare, Optima Health, and WebTPA–Custom Ink.
We are not accepting new patients with Medicaid insurance, including Medicaid as a secondary payer. We are accepting patients with Tricare as secondary insurance.

Termination Policy: Two no-shows, missed appointments, or late cancellations may result in termination of the patient-physician relationship. Inappropriate, rude, threatening, or abusive behavior toward any staff member will also result in immediate termination of care.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, and personal checks. We also accept FSA and HSA cards. We do not accept cash payments.
Card on File (Required): We require patients to keep a credit card on file to streamline billing. After your insurance processes the claim, you will be notified by email of any balance owed, and the card on file will be charged. Your card information is protected by PCI-DSS compliant processing through Elavon.
